DIRECTOR

Roldy Simeus
Growing up in a small village in Haiti where music was really popular, Roldy fell in love with the sounds and the art of it. However, voodoo music was the most popular genre in the village where he grew up, and it wasn’t until he left to go to school in Port Au Prince that he had an encounter with Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his Lord and Savior and fell in love with gospel music. Roldy always had the passion for music and started to take that love more seriously. At the age of 18, he had the honor and privilege to serve as the director of Shekinah Gospel Choir. It was then that his purpose and calling became clear. What he loves the most about music is the ability to play around with various songs and try to find different sounds. He currently attends NouvelVi Church and serves as the Music Director. One of the ways he loves to worship Christ daily is by using his gift of music to glorify Him in all that he does. He is blessed to be married to Glenah Simeus and currently has two beautiful children, Taylor and Colin.
