About
Love and Fellowship Community Choir (LFCC) started back in 2011, when our founder and visionary Emmanuel Simeus wanted to bring all of his friends together and create a mass choir for his 25th fundraising birthday concert. The goal of this concert was to raise funds for his brother’s charity Achad, which supports an orphanage in Haiti. With the success of the fundraising concert, LFCC continued and grew from that point on, and has since raised over $10,000 in funds for different organizations and charities.
Now, LFCC is a non-profit choir, with members spanning from different Christian denominations and churches in New Jersey. LFCC meets every fall semester in preparation of our annual fundraising concert. Each year, concert proceeds are donated to an organization that is in need of financial support to accomplish a goal/project.
We are to live by example, walking in honesty and decency;
and let our light shine before others. (Matt. 5:16, Rom. 13:13)
Our Mission
LFCC’s mission is to reach souls through the Word of God and allow God’s power to move through us in song, spoken word, performing arts, visual arts, community service, dance, and whatever talent God deposited in us for His use. We seek to uplift the down trodden, encourage the discouraged and spread the word of the Lord to the community of believers and non-believers. We seek to serve the Lord with joy and to testify of His love and power. We seek to glorify our Father, which art in Heaven, in clapping, singing, dancing and ministering to those who seek the Kingdom of Heaven. Finally, LFCC’s mission is to present each member as a living witness pleasing onto God as our holy sacrifice.

Culture Codes
1. We believe in one holy God, eternally existing as three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (1 John 5:7, John 1:1,14)
2. We believe that all scripture is inspired by God (2 Tim 3:16), and we accept them as the final authority.
3. We believe that all man is depraved and born in sin. (Rom 3:23, Rom 5:12)
4. We believe Jesus Christ is the begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, died for our sins, and in three days rose again and is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. (John 3:16)
5. We believe that we are called to repent of our sins and have faith only in Jesus Christ who is the only way to the Father. (John 14:10)
6. We believe God has not only called us to Himself but also His people. (1 Cor. 12:12, Heb 10:25)
7. We believe we are to live by example, walking in honesty and decency; and let our light shine before others. (Matt. 5:16, Rom. 13:13)
Member Expectations
As a choir, we serve as a living testimony of the power of love, unity and fellowship one experiences when in Christ. Members are expected to • Live a life in pursuit of bringing glory to God. • Treat every rehearsal as a worship experience. • Learn the concert songs and study the lyrics. • Abide by the attendance policy and attend every rehearsal on time. • Keep a positive attitude. • Make an effort to get to know other choir members. • Refrain from gossip and disrespect towards one another. • Discern whether or not they should minister at an event in regard to their spiritual, physical, and emotional state.
LFCC meets every first and third Monday from September – December and every Monday in January in preparation of our annual fundraising concert. Members are expected to arrive to rehearsals on time and may miss up to 3 rehearsals per session. Additional absences should be discussed with the director ahead of time to ensure placement for the session. Dress rehearsal is MANDATORY to perform in the concert. Cost is $50 per session. These fees cover all the costs associated with the concert and production. We look for assistance from members in helping to advertise four our concert and fundraising efforts.
